Hi, pals!!
We are back with another edition of Application Tips for you this week. Have you got your pen already? Some notes? Are you ready to take them down? Let’s follow us to get the strategic “weapons” for later fight with other applicants to get a chance in a once-in-a-lifetime exchange program.
HOW TO MAKE YOU APPLICATION FORM OUTSTANDING
-Explain why you are their choice – Whatever the reason, explain in detail why you will make a cog in the machine and what you can bring to the program. Use your advantages in previous experiences as examples for your potential contribution. Remember to be as honest as you can. Don’t exaggerate too much.
- Double-check your writing – watch out for spelling, grammar, and the structure you use in English. Your application will directly demonstrate your English proficiency. More than that, the judge will consider what you provide in your written English carefully so that they know you have dedicated all your thoughts and attention to it.
- Add photos or certificates – Nothing can leave a more profound impression like some visual products in your application. Remember to show you personality, experiences and contributions with the photos or certificates. By doing that, you will be one step closer to the short-list because the judges can get an idea of how you worked in previous activities.
That’s all for this week’s tips. Come back next Wednesday for Interview Tips in Exchange Programs. It is going to be much more and more interesting and attractive for students who always fancy with exchange opportunity! See you next time!
